This Maldives beach GLOWS, SHIMMERS naturally at night – Photos inside

You must have heard about the pristine beaches, gentle breeze and nature’s bounty in Maldives. Most newlyweds often choose this island country for their honeymoon because it offers the tranquillity, privacy and hospitality that people expect from a travel destination post marriage.

But you may not be aware of the fact that this archipelago has an island named Vaadhoo or Dhivehi famous for its “sea of stars”. Yes you heard that right!
Post sunset, the beach illuminates because of the phytoplankton known as dinoflagellates. It generates bioluminescence which makes the beach emit a florescent glow at night. It is indeed a natural phenomenon that leaves visitors awe-struck!
You will have to see it to believe it!
